[π] Crayta Indie Fund
Deadline 11th October to register interest. Crayta, a collaborative game creation and sharing platform powered by Unreal Engine 4, are looking for a small number of creative indie devs to populate the Crayta platform at launch with innovative and fun multiplayer games. There's a pot of at least Β£100,000 to split between a number of developers to create a game each.
[π¬π§] Innovate UK Smart Grants
Deadline 16th October. Β£25m fund for the best game-changing, innovative or disruptive ideas with a view to commercialisation. All proposals must be business focused. Applications can come from any area of technology (including arts, design, media or creative industries), science or engineering and be applied to any part of the economy. Up to Β£500k available for single applicants, up to Β£2m for collaborative projects.
[π] Goldfinch seek unique IP to translate into other forms of storytelling
Deadline 31st October. Goldfinch (producer-financer of 200+ film, TV, games and more) are seeking to discover unique IP from talented developers that could translate into other forms of storytelling; "e want to find the most compelling heroes and absorbing worlds created by games developers using Epic Games' Unreal Engine and turn them into feature films, TV series, or episodic short form content."
[πͺπΊ] XR4ALL Open Call
Deadline 31st October. A total of β¬1.5M is available and the maximum funding per selected project is β¬50,000, to develop new XR solutions e.g. plugins for games engines such as Unity, low level components based on open APIs, standards and frameworks such as SolAR, or any XR Application.
[πͺπΊ] Horizon 2020 Interactive Technologies
Deadline 13th November. Develop AR/VR authoring tools for automated interactive content creation or develop solutions where the use of such technology is not mainstream. Focus should be on developing richer virtual environments, new user interfaces and improved immersion maximizing the feeling of presence. Budgets expected but not limited to being EUR 1.5-2 million with a duration from 12 to 24 months.
[π¬π§] Innovate UK Innovation Loans
Deadline 27th November. Loans of between Β£100,000 and Β£1 million are available to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Loans are for highly innovative late stage projects with the best game changing and/or disruptive ideas or concepts. There should be a clear route to commercialisation and economic impact.

Deadline 14th November. Open to developers, publishers or anyone involved n the production and/or promotion of a game provided it has/will be released in the UK in 2019.

[Scot] Support to attend GDC 2020

[π] Reboot Develop Red 2019 Scholarship programme
Deadline 12th October. 5 fully fledged scholarship packages. Each of the packages consists of 2x conference passes, accommodation at Fairmont Banff Springs (the iconic resort and venue of the conference), local airport to hotel shuttle transfers and back, meals and indie expo booth at the conference.
